This position involves learning best practices for preparing\, cleaning\, and maintaining hummingbird feeders to ensure a safe and consistent source of nourishment for these delicate birds. Under guidance\, the volunteer will become familiar with sugar-water ratios\, proper feeder placement\, and hygiene protocols to prevent mold\, fermentation\, and disease. Ideal candidates will have an interest in birds and nature\, attention to detail\, and a willingness to follow routine care schedules.
